Dear Valued Friends, With only 11 days left till Christmas...we wonder...where has the year gone?!...A lot has happened this year, close to home & around the globe...some good and some not so good but its always important to remember what matters most...family & friends and Christmas is just that time that reminds a little bit more, just how special our loved ones are....



Vintage Glamour & Parisian Flair the stores will be closing over the Christmas & New Year period from Sunday 21st December & re-open Wednesday January 14th 2009. Our website is open 24/7 for browsing & enquiries however, please note that all website orders placed by Thursday 18th December will make the xmas delivery, orders received after this date will be delivered after we re-open 14th January 2009.



Paul & I would like to take this opportunity to Wish all of you a very Merry & safe Christmas and we hope that the new year will bring lots of new cheer & opportunities for us all. Thankyou for your continued support and we hope to bring you a lot more glamorous goodies in 2009!

Too Long Between Posts...

Well its been waaaay too long since I posted my first entry here and to be honest its just so difficult finding the time to write...being busy with the business and 2 kids I guess makes me very time poor...and by the time the kids are in bed, well thats just ME time....I like to be selfish and enjoy a good movie or do some much needed catch ups like, updating the website, answering emails or see what friends are up to on Facebook....yes thats my latest addiction. I am amazed at how easy it is to find old friends that you thought you'd never see or hear from again...Im talking about friends you grew up with about 20yrs ago....its fascinating to see what they have achieved or settled into, the people they have married and the babies they've made (and theres been a few!!)...LOL

The last 2weeks I have been busy campaigning for our entry into the 2008 True Local Business Awards. I thought this year would be a good year to enter & give it a go. So far the response has been great. A special thanks to all the customers who have taken time out to Vote for us we really appreciate your support. Its good to know that we are headed in the right direction. Public Voting closes today August 8th, so it will be interesting to see how we went. I will keep you posted here to let you know any news....well with my track record, probably not right away but I will try!!

Its About Time

Well here it is and about time too! The Vintage Glamour Blog page. Ive been meaning to start this blog for quite a long time now and finally got my act together and took the leap of faith. Well for those who dont know me, this blog will be about me, my family & my much loved business Vintage Glamour. I hope to share with you my thoughts on what makes me love what I do, my hopes & dreams and of course everything in between....hopefully the journey will be just as exciting and inspiring for you as it has been for me.
